The attic

Jason was a oy from Texas. He bought a house situated in a housing development surrounded by a little forest. Near the house, there was a big lake.
Jason was happy with his life
One night, at two or three in the morning, he heard a loud noise in the attic. He wnt to check if it some furniture had fallen, but there wasn't electricity.
He ttok a torch but he didn't see enything and he went to bed.
Next morning, he had the breakfast and he went to his office. Later he wnr to search his wach. It isn't in the same table of the bedroom. He always left it there.
Forgetting it had happened, he went to the office, the way to the office was long but he wasn't thinking about it.
When he arrived to the office, the bos, quarrelled him, he didn't understand it, he always arrived to the office punctual , Jason looked to the clock and it was an hour so a person had changed it.
He was exhausted after work. When he was arriving home, he saw a shadow in then window of the attic.
It was Jason imaginating due to the fatigue or as it anythingnew in his new house?
